What is World Cancer Day?

World Cancer Day is a global event which takes place every year on the 4th of February, it unites the world’s population in the fight against cancer.

World Cancer Day is put in place to raise awareness of not only the different types of cancer but how this affects the world as a whole and Countries as individual Countries. Their aim is to make each community aware of situations and to promote Country-specific cancer prevention as well as aiming to help them meet the requirements and resource each individual Country needs.
