If you are expecting a baby or have a child aged 0-5 the health visitor can offer you a range of advice and support from breast feeding and weaning to immunisation advice and minor illnesses.
You will also receive 5 key visits
When you are 28 weeks pregnant
10-14 days after the birth of your baby
When your baby is 6-8 weeks old
A review of your child’s development at 9-12 months
A review of child’s development at 2 years
