When you take your test you will be told how long it will take before the results are returned to the practice. The doctor will also advise if you need to book another appointment to receive results or if you can ring in to obtain results.
If you have been advised to ring in to ask about results please telephone the surgery on 01827 872755. Please be prepared to identify yourself, saying what the test was and when it was carried out.
Please try not to ring during morning surgery as the telephone lines are extremely busy. The staff will pass on any information or comment the doctor has added and advise if you need to be seen.
The practice will contact you if the doctor needs to see you urgently or send letter which will state routine if non-urgent. Reception staff are not qualified to discuss results. If the result requires further discussion, they will offer you an appointment or ask doctor to ring you.
It is usual to make an appointment to discuss most x-ray results in person.
